A True Westside Success Story

Welcome to the George Washington Community High School Dollars for Scholars site! We are part of a national network of nearly 1,000 local, grassroots chapters providing scholarships in their communities. Since 2006, our chapter has supported the graduates of George Washington Community High School in Indianapolis, Indiana through the engagement of the local Westside Indianapolis community and partners from throughout Central Indiana. Annual Taste of the Westside

Good Times, Good Cause

   

 GWCHS Dollars for Scholars Taste of the Westside provides an opportunity for everyone to gather for an evening of tasting and socialization. We offer food samplings through the generosity of area restaurants and businesses.

A taste is a portion just large enough for you to enjoy the flavor. Once you have enjoyed the sample, we hope you will want to visit our sponsors and enjoy their full portions.

Annual Spring Reception

 Each Spring GWCHS Dollars for Scholars hosts a reception to recognize the people who share their time, talent, and treasure to fund the scholarships for GWCHS students. Former scholarship recipients have the opportunity to share experiences with supporters and the community in a relaxed social atmosphere. With the support of generous underwriters, GWCHS Dollars for Scholars is able to apply 100% of the donations received towards scholarships. Dedicated scholarship funders are recognized for the ongoing support.
